Live-view & Playback
Synology VS240HD makes surveillance live-view and playback simple. Connect up to 24 high-definition IP cameras to VS240HD and pair it with a Synology server for ease of storing and retrieving footage with only a few clicks. With dual HDMI support, VS240HD ensures high-quality viewing. At the same time, multi-screen wall-mounted display is available for large-scale deployments.
Easy-to-Use
VS240HD was developed with a focus on ease-of-use for both casual and advanced users. The interface is simple and intuitive, with easy access to the most common functions, such as live-view, playback, and exporting, which allows you to step through recordings and export high-quality HDTV clips or snapshots to an external USB drive.
VS240HD allows the manipulation of PTZ on specific IP cameras by mouse-clicks. Useful angles can be saved and grouped to form "patrol" cycles while optimized live-view layouts are fully customizable just by drag-and-drop.
Energy-Efficient
VS240HD requires only 14.4W when fully-loaded with 24 channels, and lowers its power usage down to only 10W when idle. As a PC-less surveillance solution, VS240HD economizes on both equipment and energy costs in the long-term.
